TRAINING PROGRAM

Day 1
 
Introduction
My experience as a Clinical Water Therapy Therapist.
 
Block 1 /land/
1 The therapeutic concept of Clinical Water Therapy.
2. Competency development program of the Clinical Water Therapy Therapist.
3. Clinical Water Therapy Therapist as an expert working with the patient in water.
 
Block 2/ land/
1. The  Patient with Cerebral Palsy (CP) - looking at and understanding his needs.
2. Clinical Water Therapy - what does it mean for a patient with CP?
3. Clinical Water Therapy - what does it mean for the Therapist?

Block 3 /land/
1. Responsibility of the Clinical WaterTherapy Therapist to the patient , his family:
  • moral responsibility,
  • legal responsibility,
  • medical responsibility.
 
Block 4/water/
1. Clinical Water Therapy therapist in water:
  • water as a support for the therapist,
  • feeling the water,
  • water as a carrier and transmitter,
  • cooperation with water,
  • the posture of the therapist in the water,
  • therapeutic movement in water.
Exercises:
  • ergonomic exercises in water,
  • exercises building therapist's cooperation with water, building water sensitivity,
  • exercises building awareness of the therapist as a Clinical Water Therapy Therapist
  • expansion of the communication sphere.
 
 
Day 2
Block 1 /water/
1. Building the sensory experience of the Clinical Water Therapy therapist:
  • my work on land vs. in water,
  • therapist's senses and their impact on therapy,
  • awareness of being here and now - competence
2. Demonstration work (DEMO) - work of the trainer with the patient in water - session of Clinical
  Water Therapy. Discussion of the DEMO.

Block 2 /land/
1. An important element in the work of the Clinical Water Therapy therapist - communication:
  • verbal/non-verbal,
  • with the patient/ with his family,
  • with other experts of medical teams.

Block 3 /land/
1. Summary of the first day
2 Clinical Water Therapy therapist in water (theory):
  • water as a support for the therapist,
  • feeling the water,
  • Water as a carrier and transmitter,
  • cooperation with water,
  • the posture of the therapist in the water,
  • therapeutic movement in water.

Block 4 / land/.
1. Clinical Water Therapy therapist -  the way to success in life and business:
  • program,
  • certification path,
  • business,
  • economic security
2. Question and Answer panel.
3. Summary of the training and feedback to participants.
4. Presentation of Certificates (with entry in the register of the International  Child Physiotherapy    
   Institute ICPI).
 
  *The trainer can change, adapt the training program to the needs of the trainee.
