Clinical Water Therapy Training level 2

TRAINING PROGRAM

Day 1
Block 1 /land/
1.Summary of knowledge from the first level of training - questions from participants and answers.
2.First contact between the therapist and the patient's parent:
    • a list of questions for the parent (about the child's health),
    • assessment of the situation and possibilities for the patient,
    • indications and contraindications to Clinical Water Therapy,
    • cost of therapy,
    • therapist's work system.
3. A difficult conversation - how to refuse to undertake therapy.
4. Beginning therapy - the first meeting of the therapist with the patient.

Block 2 /land/
Development of a child with cerebral palsy - what to reinforce and what to extinguish.

Block 3 /water/
1. Ways of entering water with a child
2. Base position in Clinical Water Therapy.
3. Assessment of the child's needs
4. Feeling the child in water, adjustment of the therapist to the child - techniques for normalizing tension part 1
5. Demonstration work (DEMO) - work of the trainer with the patient in water - session of Clinical Water Therapy.  
   Discussion of the DEMO.

Day 2
Block 1/land/
Preparing the child to enter water - child handling.

Block 2 /water /
1. Techniques for normalizing postural tension and building body linearity - part 2
2. Techniques for normalizing postural tension and building body linearity - part 3
3. Demonstration work (DEMO) - work of the trainer with the patient in water - session of Clinical Water Therapy.
   Discussion of the DEMO.

Block 3 /land/
Clinical Water Therapy and other available therapies for children with cerebral palsy.


Day 3
Block 1/land/
1. Building a relationship with the patient.
2. Building a relationship with the patient's family as an indirect action.
3. Preparation for work with the patient during practical sessions.

Block 2 /water/
Practical sessions of students with patients.

Block 3/land/
Q&A panel on the therapist's work with the patient.

Day 4
Block 1/land/
1. Influence of communication on therapy.
2. Type of communication from the therapist.
3. Building the right attitude towards therapy.
4. Indirect support from the patient's parents.

Block 2 /water/
1. Practical sessions of students with patients.
2. Dynamics of the session.
3. Correct course of the session (sequence, blocks).


Block 3/land/
1.Q&A panel on the work of the therapist with the patient.
2.Announcement of the III level of Clinical Water Therapy - discussion.
3.Business vision for the Clinical Water Therapy Therapist.
4. Presentation of Certificates
 
  *The trainer can change, adapt the training program to the needs of the trainee.
